Liga-Region has automated warehouse process management based on Penta WMS

2023: Penta WMS Implementation

On April 28, 2023, Penta Group announced the successful commissioning of the Penta WMS solution at the warehouse of the production and trading company Liga-Region.

Under the conditions of sanctions pressure, the demand for domestic construction and finishing materials has significantly increased. The available technological capabilities allowed the production divisions of the company to significantly increase production. To ensure an increase in turnover, the company's management decided to automate warehouse process management based on the Penta WMS system.

At the time of the introduction of Penta WMS, the acceptance of deliveries and shipment of orders were carried out on paper invoices from the trading information system. Address storage and bar coding in a 6000 sqm warehouse was not used.

When implementing the Penta WMS warehouse management system, the following process features were implemented:

• proactive and hot replenishment of complete cells;
• formation of delivery flights and prioritization of flight ordering;
• distribution of tasks for completion between the teams of executors in accordance with the assigned storage facilities of the warehouse complex;
• creation of sets of goods;
• formation of cargo items and control for individual counterparties;
• accounting for the development of teams and individual performers.

The project made it possible to effectively use the capabilities of personnel and equipment, increase accuracy and reduce the time for preparing client orders and create conditions for the growth of turnover. The customer has independently deployed the Penta WMS system in the backup storage warehouse.
