Lightning, center of trade (Exceed 4000)

The I2 CIS company started automation of the new distribution center belonging to the Chelyabinsk retail chain stores Lightning. As the platform of automation the Exceed WMS 4000 system (Infor WM NG), and as the application solution – "retail template" developed by specialists of I2 CIS during implementation of other projects for the companies retailers will be used. The trading company owns six shops of a format "supermarket" and "hypermarket" and three shops of the "shop at the house" format. The range of goods contains over 38 thousand product names. The new distribution center of class "A" put into operation has the total area of 17,000 sq.m and is intended for storage food and nonfoods. The standard solution is proposed as a part of a service package which includes delivery of the licenses WMS systems, its installation with completely configured standard warehouse business processes, a set of the necessary reporting in MS Reporting Service and also a documentation kit and a training course for users. The project of automation will be performed by forces of a joint team of specialists of the customer and integrator, and should be complete in the fall of 2008.
