2025: RFRIT grant for the project - 167 million rubles

In June 2025, the demo day of the ITC "Railway Engineering" took place, on which issues of import substitution of foreign engineering software and the implementation of particularly significant projects for the digitalization and automation of railway engineering enterprises were discussed. One of the projects is "Digital logbook (passport) of the article." It is being implemented by LokoTech-Service, RFRIT has provided a grant of 167 million rubles.

The LokoTech-Service project is being implemented within the framework of the import substitution program in the field of information technology. The solution is being developed by Control of TuGoRu"." The purpose is to create a domestic PLM platform providing traceability of locomotive life cycle based on distributed register technology blockchain (). The introduction of the system is expected to reduce product defects, accelerate the design of locomotives, and reduce the number of disagreements between the process participants on the quality of components and work performed.

"Digital logbook (passport) of the article" refers to particularly important projects. All modules and subsystems of the product are in-house development of "ControlTuGoRu," based on the "C2G Blockchain" platform. The use of the new PLM-complex will allow building the interaction "customer - operator - manufacturer" on the basis of trusted information exchange.

The solution will be implemented in the managed companies of LokoTech-Service LLC, which have all the data on the life cycle of the product for market participants. The production base of LokoTech-Service (part of the LokoTech group of companies) is 86 service locomotive depots located throughout Russia - from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad. These enterprises employ 35 thousand people: their forces, according to the company, serve the main part of the locomotive fleet of Russian Railways^[1]

Performance of works on the second stage of the project "Digital logbook (passport) of the article"

At the end of 2024, LLC LokoTech-Service and LLC Control of TuGoRu completed the work on the second stage of the project "Digital logbook (passport) of the product." This project is recognized as Government of the Russian Federation particularly significant and is being implemented with the assistance of a grant from the Russian Information Technology Development Fund (). RFRIT This was announced by Ctrl2Go on January 22, 2025.

The second stage was implemented in full and in time according to the calendar plan. The reporting documents for the second phase of the project were submitted to the RFRIT in December 2024 .

The project for the creation of domestic software "Digital form (passport) of the product" is being implemented within the framework of the import substitution program in the field of information technology. Its goal is to develop a domestic PLM class system (to replace imported product lifecycle management tools) that provides traceability of the product life cycle based on distributed registry (blockchain) technology. The revised software will be put into commercial operation in 2025.

According to the project manager of the Production Analysis and Development Department of LokoTech Group of Companies Sergey Timushev, at the second stage, the basic core of the system and functional modules of the software platform were finalized, and preliminary tests of the system were carried out at the test stand of the Ctrl2GO developer company . At the third stage, which will last until the end of March, 2025, it is planned to develop requirements for the implementation of the system at the customer; deploy the system on LokoTech-Service servers; finalize the documentation, install the software and connect users, conduct preliminary tests at the Customer's workplaces.

The "Digital Product Logbook" project is moving within the approved schedule and in accordance with the terms of reference. Its implementation will be an important step towards ensuring the technological independence of Russia in the field of industrial software, "S .  Timushev emphasized.

Completion of the first stage of the project "Digital logbook (passport) of the product"

LokoTech and Ctrl2GO, with the support of RFRIT, completed work on the first stage of the project "Digital Product Form (Passport)," within the framework of which ITA and technical project for software development were formed. The company Ctrl2Go announced this on March 1, 2024.

The information system will ensure the accumulation and storage of unchanged facts on the life cycle of locomotives and equipment. The software records the state of objects and processes, as well as changes in technical and financial characteristics in real time, forms a trusted environment for automating the interaction of its participants according to previously agreed algorithms.

The application of the IT solution will make it possible to build effective interaction in the chain "customer-operator - manufacturer," speed up the process of designing locomotives and reduce the number of product defects.
