2TEST supplied industrial equipment of communication for the organization of a video surveillance system to World Cup 2018

On June 25, 2018 company 2TEST announced that it took part in the project on security at Luzhniki stadium within preparation for holding the FIFA World Cup 2018.

Upgrade of stadium began in 2016 and was required because of the small capacity and mismatch to security requirements, the exposed FIFA (International Federation of Association Football).

As the general contractor in the project of the organization of a video surveillance system on an object the Lanit Group company acted. On a task of integrator 2TEST provided selection and delivery of multimode media converters with support of PoE IEEE 802.3af and without PoE for signal transmission from the switch to surveillance cameras on distance to 450 m.

Within the project engineers 2TEST delivered the German media converters of the industrial class MICROSENS which are capable to provide the required transmission level of a signal, differ in utilization properties even in severe environmental conditions and reasonable price.

Equipment by reliable industrial equipment of communication is carried out to the stated time: Industrial MICROSENS MS410513-V2 converters, ports 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX, the SC connector for the single-mode optical cable (up to 15 km), the demountable connector of a power supply is switched on; Industrial converters with support PoE MICROSENS MS400163, ports 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX, the SC connector for the single-mode optical cable (up to 15 km), support of a power supply through USB. The expanded version of the converter has the additional power source through PoE.

The installed industrial media converters completely conform to requirements of the customer, allow to connect several video cameras of high resolution, at the same time do not require configuring and support VLAN: transparent mode (IEEE 802.1q VLAN, Q-in-Q pass-through).

Via these media converters 1,500 cameras of external video surveillance and 1000 cameras in the sports Luzhniki arena were connected. Thanks to smooth operation of the supplied communication equipment video surveillance in the venue of the FIFA World Cup of 2018 is organized according to international standards.
