The lyceum of information technologies selects interactive boards of ABC Board

The Moscow Lyceum of information technologies No. 1533 (LIT) selected for equipment of the educational classes from the new building the Russian interactive boards of ABC Board of production of DELIGHT 2000 company, leading Russian system integrator in the field of design and complex equipment of objects the audiovisual and adjacent systems.

In anticipation of September 1 the Moscow Lyceum No. 1533 (LITAS) received in the order the new building on Profsoyuznaya Street where elementary grades of lyceum were moved. LIT — state educational institution in which at average and senior steps of the general education (5 – 11 classes) the concept of a deep profiling of educational process in data domains "Mathematics and information science" and Information technologies is implemented. The lyceum takes the 12th place in the rating of schools of Moscow of the increased level and long time closely cooperates with the leading universities of Moscow: Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russian university of oil and gas of I.M. Gubkin, Higher School of Economics, institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS). Graduates of lyceum not only are demanded by universities, but already in the years of study take active part in project and research activities for a broad spectrum of the directions of development of the information industry of Russia.

New educational classes are equipped with assistance of the leading Russian system integrators. Among them - nine offices in which work with interactive educational resources is most demanded are equipped by specialists of DELIGHT 2000 ABC Board boards:

• three offices of information science where the algoritmika using visual programming languages is studied and are conducted project work of pupils;
• offices of history, social science and geography in which application of boards of ABC Board is focused on work with interactive digital maps and educational geographic information systems;
• an office of Russian and literature where work with interactive materials is conducted using author's developments of teachers and lyceum students;
• offices of biology and chemistry where there was an opportunity to apply interactive virtual models of the studied objects.

The interactive boards of ABC Board set in LITAS are completely domestic development of DELIGHT 2000 company and are based on micropoint technology which provides exact positioning of an electronic marker and a possibility of simultaneous interactive work of three and more people. In this project configurations of boards without cretaceous surfaces are used, however ABC Board is given ampler opportunities for work – at choice cretaceous, magnetic, marker, interactive surfaces and the projection screen. During creation of boards of DELIGHT 2000 not only studied advantages and shortcomings of different technologies of already existing interactive boards, but also considered needs of the Russian teachers. Own production in Russia allowed to create the product meeting the requirements of the Russian schools, to provide the high level of development and control of execution, to accelerate time of production and delivery of interactive boards to regions of the country.

The choice of the Russian interactive boards of ABC Board of production of DELIGHT 2000 allowed to save usual style of a lesson and to introduce new technologies in learning process. "We already use interactive boards of the famous British producer, but having estimated all advantages and advantages of AVS Board, selected them for the new body of our Lyceum, – Alexander Vladimirovich Giglavy, the research supervisor and the associate director on informatization of SEI Lyceum No. 1533 (Information Technologies) says. – At a phrase "the Russian production" many have doubts in quality of the equipment, but we cooperate with DELIGHT 2000 company long ago and closely and were completely sure that the quality of ABC Board is at the highest level. In technical solution which is proposed by developers of an interactive board ABC Board the most important traditional property of a blackboard (I write as got used, and what got used to) and the innovation property of interactivity (control accuracy, high speed of reaction to actions of the person) are combined. In addition specialists of DELIGHT 2000 quickly and accurately performed installation of equipment in order that on September 1 pupils entered the new equipped classes".

Interactive boards of ABC Board have no electronic component, for their work the electric network is not necessary, so, defeat of children is excluded by electric current. ABC Board are not afraid of fire and physical damages, from them texts and even hard-to-remove pollution easily are removed, they it is better than other interactive boards are adapted for offices of physics, chemistry. The surface of a board is not subject to corrosion and is steady against effect of aggressive chemicals, change of the parameters of the environment indoors (the increased temperature, humidity, pressure) resulting from conducting laboratory trials.

Interactive boards of ABC Board are delivered together with the software of RM EasiTeach which is well known to the Russian teachers and is widely used in student teaching. For fast mastering and easy use of software the set includes video lessons, training materials and examples of creation of interactive lessons of different objects.

For the first time ABC Board was shown on the exhibition platform of the Moscow center of technology modernization of education in May, 2013. It attracted great interest of pedagogical and expert community and at once began to be delivered in educational institutions of different regions of the country. Today among them and the Lyceum of Information Technologies (LIT) where the main focus in training is put on application of information and communication technologies. Further, the lyceum expects continuation of cooperation with DELIGHT 2000 and also plans carrying out conjoint analysis of practical experience of use of interactive boards of ABC Board.
