MAN Financial Services (Homnet Leasing 8)

In the MAN Financial Services leasing company, subsidiary company of the German concern MAN, the first stage of implementing solution "is completed by Homnet: Leasing".

The Russian department of the company was open in 2006. Primary activity of the company is connected with providing in leasing of trucks and the hook-on equipment.

From the very beginning the company management made the decision on automation on the 1C: Enterprise platform. The custom system created specially according to requirements of the leasing company had to become the first solution. However later half a year the implemented system was used only by accounting and only for data storage which calculation was made "manually". Therefore in the spring of 2007 it was decided to carry out repeated automation on the basis of the industry specialized solution developed by the company "1C: Homnet" (file) on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform.

Considering the customer's wishes about the fastest input of a system in operation, it was decided to apply to implement it by an iterative method, step by step mastering all new opportunities.

During the first stage (iteration) of the project data transfer from the previous program was performed and the most demanded sections of functionality are automated: interaction with the lessee (beginning from the address of the client and finishing with registration of the payment schedule), calculation and charge of a penalty fee, automatic formation of primary documentation, vendor interaction, creditors and insurance companies, control of passing of stages of implementation of the leasing transaction. Also the subsystem of treasury (cash management) was implemented and the calculator of the payment schedule and charges is developed.

At the moment in the company 7 jobs are automated. The department of leasing and accounting got to work in a system. It is expected that in the coming months the number of users of a system will double, and the staff of department of the credits and risks will get to work in new software.

According to Thomas Shnayderkhayntse, the CEO of "MAN Faynenshial Servises", implementation of an information system allowed to reduce time of processing of requests and agreements of leasing, to establish connection between accounting and management accounting.

Within the second stage of the project implementation of IFRS blocks and financial planning is planned.
