In 43 cryptobiocabins in the MFC of the Moscow Region, you can now issue a passport for 10 years. This was announced on December 2, 2021 by the Ministry of State Administration, Information Technology and Communications of the Moscow Region.

In the Moscow region, 43 MFC installed cryptobiocabins for the registration of passports of the latest type. In cryptobiocabins, you can hand over fingerprints and take pictures on a passport. Earlier in MFC it was possible to process only the document of an old sample - for 5 years, and for execution of the international passport of the last generation - on 10 years - it was required to visit office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for delivery of biometrics, - the minister of public administration, information technologies and communications Moscow reported an oblastinadezhd Kurtyanik.

The passport contains encrypted biometric data of the owner: color photo and fingerprints. To issue the document, you will need an application, a Russian passport, a receipt for payment of the state duty and, if available, an old passport. Men of draft age will need to be provided with a military ticket.

To issue a passport through a cryptobiocabin, you need to pre-register with the MFC. To do this, on the main page of the regional portal you should find the service "Pre-registration at the MFC," select the desired department and service "Obtaining a foreign passport with a validity period of 10 years."

At the selected time, you must come to the My Documents center and apply for a passport through the acceptance window. Employees of the MFC who have undergone special training and passed the standings are allowed to work with the cryptobiocabin. The operator scans the electronic questionnaire and prints the generated barcode: it is unique for each applicant. After that, the operator accompanies the applicant to the cryptobiocabin and, if necessary, advises during the delivery of biometric data. All steps are displayed and accompanied by voice assistant messages. The program itself scans fingerprints and photographs the applicant. Next, you need to scan the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation. If everything is done correctly, a message appears on the screen that the data has been sent for processing to the Ministry of Internal Affairs system.

To issue a document, it is necessary to pay a state duty - 5 thousand rubles. The period of manufacture of the passport at the place of registration is 1 month. If the applicant is registered in another city, a passport can be obtained in 3 months.

Cryptobiocabins are installed in cities with a population of more than 50 thousand people. The work schedule of cryptobiocabins coincides with the work schedule of the MFC in which they are installed.
