MGEI (BIT: Selection committee)

Specialists of Expert center in work with educational institutions of BIT company execute the project of automation of selection committee at the Moscow Humanitarian and Economic Institute (MHEI) based on the program "BIT: Selection committee". The standard functionality of the program did not demand completions therefore implementation is executed all in a week.

The university aims at permanent quality improvement of management of educational process. In May, 2011 the decision to create an end-to-end automated system for work of selection committee, educational department and dean's offices was made. In an analysis result of offers in the market of automated systems the choice was stopped on the program "BIT: Selection committee". This solution has functionality necessary for university and allows to bring in a short time a system into operation.

Now reception of applications of entrants is conducted already using a new system "BIT: Selection committee".

The full stroke of tasks of admittance of students is automated:

• registration of biographical particulars and statements of entrants;
• formation of a necessary document package for the entrant (the receipt, inventories, the questionnaire, etc.);
• accounting of results of the unified state examination (USE);
• the approval of the list of disciplines on which entrance examinations, for each competitive group are taken;
• formation of the lists recommended for transfer based on tests taking into account presence at the entrant of privileges at entering a higher education institution;
• reporting for data analysis about entrants, the submitted applications and results of entrance tests.
