Compulink Group developed the concept of integration of IT systems on the basis of model of network for JSC MOESK

In the fall of 2012 the Compulink Group won tender for development of the concept of integration of IT-systems on the basis of model of network for JSC MOESK that will become one of the first steps on the way to "smart networks".

In JSC MOESK there is a large number of separate IT systems in which there is a duplication of data on accounting items in the absence of mechanisms of their synchronization. Project implementation will allow to take the first step on the way to data management and information flows irrespective of the used IT systems at the expense of the complete description of power supply system and simplification of information exchange between the applied systems for the purpose of increase in management efficiency at all levels by means of Model of network.

The strategic project task – creation of conditions for integration of the corporate and technology systems of JSC MOESK – is a basis for creation of a common information space of the Uniform National Power Grid (UNPG) of the Russian Federation, and the subsequent full-scale transition to use of SmartGrid technology to ENES Russian Federation.

The model of network will be constructed according to requirements of international standards (an IEC 61970/61968) according to which the set of the technology systems is already described today. Thus, the project task is in that using the IEC standards to provide the uniform unified representation of structure and properties of power supply system in the form of object-oriented model.

The principles of use of model of network will consider the current problems of development of corporate and technology management of JSC MOESK, methods of the solution of these tasks, questions connected with increase in level of observability and controllability of production facilities.

The concept of integration of IT systems will become the fundamental document when developing technical requirements, solutions, regulations and other project technical documentation directed to creation of a uniform corporate information system.

Other important point is that the project will fully allow the Customer to use SmartGrid technologies, or so-called "smart" networks, and will become one of the first steps on this way. Upon transition to Smart Grid and Smart Metering technologies, imposing increased requirements to quality and efficiency of processing of information flows, standardization of information support of the network company is a necessary condition.

In October, 2014 the Compulink group completed the project on development of the concept of integration of IT-systems on the basis of model of network for JSC MOESK. The new complete solution is designed to increase quality of information support of business processes of the customer due to creation of a common information space based on CIM model.

The offered concept of integration of IT systems will become the fundamental document when developing technical requirements and other documentation directed to creation of the uniform corporate information system integrating technology information systems with business applications and allowing to analyze company performance in any section.

During the project large-scale examination of the existing computing powers and elements of IT infrastructure was conducted and recommendations about its expansion are formulated. Specialists Compulink within an assigned task analyzed 15 main business processes of the corporate and technology MOESK block and created detailed data models of 32 information systems. As a result the model of network constructed according to requirements of international standards (an IEC 61970/61968) and containing real data was provided to the management of "MOESK".

The model of network offered Compulink is the ready-made product which underwent approbation according to the standard technique which is used in Europe and the USA.

In the course of approbation the prototype of model of network was integrated into the corporate and technology MOESK systems that allowed to demonstrate to the customer of advantage of implementation: this model gives the chance to trace the current tasks of management and methods of the solution of these tasks and also to increase observability and controllability of production facilities.
