MTS (Certification center)

Corporate certification center MTS is created using technology of "public keys" for increase in safety of work with information resources of the company. Project completion it is announced in October, 2008.

The corporate certification center MTS represents the hardware-software complex providing confidentiality and control of integrity of information in interaction with removed dealers within a single system of payment acceptance. Also the center is used for protection of document flow of the company and secure access to its information resources, including for protection of documents against not authorized reading, copying or change.

The solution is organized based on infrastructure of technology of "public keys" which represents the system of the digital certificates certifying authenticity of the user. Digital certificates execute a role of "electronic passports" which by means of the individual confidential password and means of cryptographic protection provide uniform identification and authorization of users of a system, applications and processes and also guarantee availability, integrity and confidentiality of information.

The technology of "public keys" allows to create the Wednesday providing authenticity, authorship and reliability of electronic documents, and confidentiality of transmission of messages practically of any class.

In the long term MTS is also going to use corporate certification center at service of subscribers of the company. Implementation of the procedure of record of the digital certificate in SIM cards of subscribers will simplify development of the mobile services requiring obligatory authorization of the user and providing secure access to it to information resources on a cellular transmission network, for example services of mobile banking.
