MTS will purchase abroad the equipment for development of 4G network +

On May 8, 2015 it became known of delivery of the wireless radio systems by Intracom Telecom company for the organization of transport networks of small cells by request of JSC MTS^[1].

Project Tasks

The specified systems are selected by JSC MTS through the international tender since the company prepares for the further growth of network in direction 4G+, carrying out upgrade of the capacity offered subscribers at the level of streets.

According to the agreement the Intracom Telecom company will deliver to Ethernet-radiosistema's operator of millimetric range for outside placement: StreetNode-V60 (6250 PTP) and UltraLink-FX80.

Validity period of the framework agreement two years.

StreetNode-V60 and UltraLink-FX80 systems work at frequencies of 60 GHz and 70/80 GHz respectively, and are suitable for use on the transport networks of ranges from Backhaul for small cells, to Backhaul and Fronthaul for macrocells. Both systems provide capacity to 3 Gbps for UltraLink-FX80, up to 1.7 Gbps for StreetNode-V60 and can be established on lampposts, walls, on roofs of buildings and telecommunication towers.
