2021: Implementation of the NeuroniQ Queue Management System

In the clinical and diagnostic center "Protection of mother and child health" ( Yekaterinburg), the NEURONIQ patient flow control system was introduced . This was announced on April 12, 2021 by Technology of the Future.

The main tasks of the project implementation are:

  • improving the quality of service;
  • Reduce the time required for manual queue coordination
  • reduced waiting time.

Such result is achieved due to automated distribution of patients in offices and information support of citizens.

The operation of the queue management system (PMS) begins with the import of preliminary records from the medical system "Doctor. ATM "for which integration with NEURONIQ was carried out. The registrar confirms the visitor's arrival and prints the ticket using a thermal printer.

In the waiting areas there are LCD panels, which display the numbers of the called coupons and reception rooms. The invitation notification is duplicated on the boards placed above the rooms. This helps the visitor to navigate the expected waiting time and the speed of the queue.

During maintenance, the NEURONIQ intelligent system implements several flow control scenarios:

  • calling patients to the first freed specialist;
  • Call according to a certain order of service;
  • returning to the doctor after being examined by others or undergoing examinations.

The clinic staff can use both ready-made routes and create them themselves, direct patients to other employees, invite the next one automatically, or choose from queues of primary or re-reception. In addition, for the convenience of doctors, the history of passing specialists is recorded.

The additional quality of the MCS is automated collection of quantitative information on servicing citizens. This allows monitoring and analysis of the activities of the institution.

Thus, the introduction of MCS increases the efficiency of the medical organization, increases the transparency of processes, improves the quality of services provided, creates information support for visitors, staff and the center management.
