In the spring of 2017 of CORUS Consulting Group completed the project on QlikView business intelligence system implementation for sales department in one of the leading distributors of alcoholic products in Russia, Maxxium Russia.
Earlier collecting of analytical data and statistics in sales department was conducted manually that required a lot of time and did not allow to obtain quickly information on the current sales of the distributor. Use only of standard means of Microsoft Office limited possibilities of visual representation of collected data. For the solution of these tasks the distributor made the decision to implement the full-fledged system of a business intelligence. On market analysis results the choice fell on the QlikView platform and its partner of CORUS Consulting Group.
During the project specialists of integrator created a BI system which allows to build reports on indicators of sales and business expenses for departments of analytics and finance. Time of measure calculation of work of sales department was reduced many times: for example, bonus calculation is implemented in several minutes now while before use of QlikView on it several days left.
The management of Maxxium had an opportunity to do the plan fact the analysis of business expenses, to trace target and forecast indicators of primary and secondary sales, to compare results of sales of separate distributors and also to check quality of the loaded data with the help of the report on errors.
A large number of integration with other analytical systems functioning in the company became feature of the project: CISLINK and SCANDATA, the data warehouse of Data Warehouse & RDBMS and also creation of the additional uniform data warehouse on the Microsoft SQL Server platform and an OLAP cube on the Microsoft Analysis Services platform.
