Implementation of industry solution of SAP for Health care in "The medical center of Far Eastern Federal University"

Technoserv Consulting completed in the fall of 2013 the first stage of automation of the most advanced medical institution in Primorye — the Medical center of Far Eastern Federal University. Implementation of industry solution of SAP for Health care will allow new clinic to work at the level of the international standards and to render high-quality medical services.

The medical center of Far Eastern Federal University (MTs DVFU) opened the doors in June of this year and is one of the most modern medical institutions in Russia. For automation of basic processes of MTS DVFU the industry solution of SAP for Health care which is successfully applied in medical institutions worldwide is selected. In addition to basic functionality on management of finance and material resources, in a system a number of the business processes and tasks specific to medical institution is implemented.

System implementation was conducted at the same time with construction of MTS DVFU. By the time of opening of MTs specialists Technoserv Consulting created the information system covering key processes of clinic: registries (maintaining the schedule, a design of patients on acceptance, etc.), accounting of cases of out-patient and hospital treatment, maintaining basic clinical documentation and also formation of the basic analytical reports. Using integration of a system into self-service terminals patients can independently register in acceptance.

In 2014 the information system of the Medical center will support processes of operating activities, rendering hi-tech medical care, kliniko-expert work, rehabilitation and recovery medicine, nursing care. The electronic passport of organization, the register of health workers, the register of chronic patients will be developed and also information exchange with other medical organizations is organized. The volume of the functionality provided to the staff of financial and economic, personnel and marketing services will increase. Total number of users of a system will reach 200 people.

Consultants Technoserv Consulting pay special attention to automation of one of important and labor-consuming tasks in work of medical institutions — to formation of the state statistical reporting and analytical reports about work of divisions of the Medical center. Besides, integration into the laboratory equipment and the system of archiving and transfer of images (PACS) will be carried out. The management of MTS DVFU will have more opportunities for setup and detailing of reports for work of the Medical center.

Implementation of an information system in the DVFU Medical center is conducted by consultants Technoserv Consulting in parallel with implementation of the complex project of the creation of infocommunication infrastructure executed by Technoserv company.
