Mega Trend International (CargoSolution)

On December 2, 2005 Elfor Soft and Mega Trend International entering into the Russian group Mega Trend Group signed the agreement on the implementing solution CargoSolution on the Microsoft Navision platform. According to the reached agreements a system at first will be put into operation at the Moscow office Mega Trend International, and then other divisions of the company in Russia, India, Sri Lanka, Great Britain, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong and China also will be connected to it.

As explain in the company, the existing Mega Trend International automation system ceased to meet requirements imposed to it, and completions required the increasing time and finance costs. Need for new, more effective and flexible information system resulted. In an analysis result of the solutions proposed in the market of both foreign, and domestic developers, a choice was made for benefit of CargoSolution created by Elfor Soft company on the Microsoft Navision platform. "We looked for already ready-made product which would allow to automate activity of the company in the shortest possible time and with the minimum completions, - Dzhayamakh's Adobe, the head of Mega Trend Group says. - The competence of the supplier in the field of transport logistics was the important requirement when choosing also. On the general background demonstration of the solution CargoSolution of Elfor Soft company was profitable selected. Specialists of the company freely were guided in the smallest nuances of work of the transport-forwarding company, and a possibility of the developed solution by 90% corresponded to our operational processes. After work we did not doubt the demonstration version of the solution any more that CargoSolution on the Microsoft Navision platform is what we looked for". Project finish is planned for the beginning of 2006.
