The project on transfer of the ELLF application from x86 platform on the IBM PowerLinux platform is executed by specialists of Corus Consulting and Center of migration of Merlion company with consulting and practical support from the staff of IBM.
In the course of works it is picked up suitable for the platform IBM PowerLinux (architecture - ppc64) the software for start IBM PowerLinux (RHEL Java SDK, Tomcat PostgreSQL Alfresco LibreOffice , etc.), porting of some components unavailable in a precollected type (swftools) is executed, corrects installation process and settings ELLFc by accounting of features of the platform.
Project Results
As a result of testing of ELLF for IBM PowerLinux performance gain is mentioned, more than twice, at transactions of search and document handling. Considerably reliability and security of a system increased. Use of the platform will help to minimize license expenses of the customer at the expense of the special services and software tools which are built in OS.
