Metra involved the entire staff of the enterprise in lean production

2022: Participation in the National Productivity Project

The company LLC NPP METRA (Obninsk Kaluga Region) took part in the Kaluga Process Factory. The company entered the national project "Labor Productivity" in early April 2022. A kick-off meeting was held in the organization, a working group on the implementation of lean production tools was determined, and the stage "Diagnostics and Planning" is underway. This was reported by the Business Development Agency of the Kaluga Region on April 11, 2022.

At the beginning of April 2022, our company is at the initial stage of the national project. Previously, we used lean tools, but haphazardly. Now we understand that there are many ways to improve production. At the Process Factory, we brought together the heads of all departments. They share their knowledge with their employees. So we will involve the whole team in lean production and get the maximum result, Natalya Artamonova, Director of Production of NPP META LLC, said.

The process factory helps employees of enterprises optimize working technologies, teaches to save time and resources, increase production efficiency.  Training is carried out by specialists of the Regional Competence Center (RCC), which is the operator of the national project. The center was created on the basis of the Business Development Agency of the Kaluga Region.

Kaluga region entered the national project "Labor Productivity," initiated at the federal level by the president, in Russia Vladimir Putin 2018. At the beginning of April 2022, 76 enterprises of the region take part in the national project.
