Minudobrenie carries out purchases through B2B-Center electronic platform

2020: Transfer of purchases to the B2B-Center platform

JSC Minudobrenie - one of the enterprises of the chemical industry of Russia – transfers purchases of goods and services to an electronic form on B2B-Center marketplace. The B2B-Center company reported about it on September 17, 2020.

It will allow the company to increase competition, controllability and transparency of a purchasing system, to increase quality of selection of suppliers and to reduce the cost of the purchased goods and services.

From November, 2019 to May, 2020 JSC Minudobrenie tested this tender approach and electronic platform when purchasing different names of raw materials, materials, the equipment, spare parts, works and services. The test period was assessed, in general, positively.

Thanks to electronic platform the competition of suppliers reached better level. The openness of procedures allowed to attract participants that in turn forced to work more actively than operating. During the test period more than 1290 companies took part in our purchases. On average not less than 5 suppliers participate in each purchase. We managed to increase effectiveness of biddings. For September, 2020 we receive applications more than in 90% of all purchases, - Igor Levshin, the director of system management of supply of JSC Minudobrenie told. Based on open electronic tenderings we saw positive economic effect. On average, the enterprise achieved decrease in purchase prices of 10%. Separate procedures showed especially high economy of financial resources, the maximum decrease was 26%. For us it became one of the major arguments for benefit of the choice of technology of electronic procurement then the decision to pass to purchase of the majority of goods and services on B2B-Center electronic platform is made. Also it should be noted efficiency of electronic platform in the part concerning implementation of unclaimed property and different production wastes. Dynamic development of the platform and readiness to respond actively to questions of clients is available. Use of this resource by many suppliers according to the main nomenclature of purchases of our enterprise became also important factor.
