Fplus and Khost have created a centralized data warehouse for the Ministry of Finance of the Sverdlovsk Region

2025: Server Fleet Update

The manufacturer electronic engineers Fplus , in partnership with the federal system integrator HA HOST , helped Ministry of Finance of the Sverdlovsk to update the fleet based on servers Russian equipment and organize a centralized data storage server farm. Fplus announced this on April 3, 2025.

The Ministry forms the regional budget, determines tax policy and is engaged in financial control. To solve all these problems, the department processes large amounts of digital information every day. Previously collected data was stored on servers, which limited their operation and directly affected the performance of the equipment.

To reduce the burden on the IT infrastructure, the customer decided to purchase storage and update the server fleet. The project was undertaken by the HOST GC team. The integrator supplied the department with Fplus equipment: 7 Sputnik servers 221233 and one Salyut DSS 4212.

The vendor's products fully complied with the customer's requirements for reliability and fault tolerance. At the same time, as the volume of processed data grows, server performance can be increased with expansion cards, and DSS - with the help of JBOD DAE connections, up to 108 drives each.

Fplus helped to work out the technical solution and prepared the technique for deployment. Delivery and installation of the equipment on the customer's territory was provided by the integrator team, it also carried out all the necessary commissioning activities.
