2021: Start of Smart FAP Project

ICL Techno on March 25, 2021 announced the start of the Smart FAP project in the Sakhalin Region. The project provides for the introduction of telemedicine technologies in remote rural settlements. The main goal is to preserve the lives of patients by improving the quality and accessibility of medical care.

The village of Vestochka became the first settlement where the agro-industrial complex "System of Remote Telemedical Consultations" from ICL entered. The equipment purchased at the feldsher-midwife station allows you to more accurately determine health parameters. This is an electrocardiograph, portable biochemical blood analyzers, rapid urine analyzers that allow you to examine blood for oncomarkers. The list also includes an intraocular pressure indicator, a spirographic complex, a pulse oximeter and a tonometer.

The Smart FAP project creates an opportunity for the rural population to get a whole range of surveys, planned and emergency consultations of specialists right on the spot.

All equipment is connected to a portable complex, which has access to a medical information system. It is possible to transmit data on secure communication channels. The paramedic can conduct a full diagnosis of the body on the spot. Having an objective picture of the state of health of the patient, he will make decisions on his hospitalization or on medical supervision, - the regional minister zdravookhraneniyavladimir Kuznetsov told.

In a few days, ICL equipment checked the state of health of more than fifty residents of Vestochka. Two of them showed deviations in the indicators, and they were sent for additional surveys.

In March 2021, more than 50 people over 65 live in the village. At this age, chronic diseases are often present, patients need to be under sensitive medical supervision. We will increase the amount of assistance - we plan to conduct teleconsultations with a children's clinic and with a children's regional hospital, "commented I.O. Residents can sign up for teleconsultation in two ways - through a personal account on the State Services portal or through a FAP paramedic who will put the patient's data on the schedule.
