Rostelecom implements the IP telephony in medical institutions of the Astrakhan region

On January 30, 2019 the Rostelecom company reported that it will provide with telephone IP communication of 37 medical organizations of the Astrakhan region. The company implements digital service and installs the necessary equipment, including telephone sets, for an operative communication of patients with insurance companies. The solution is developed based on Virtual PBX service using cloud computing and will provide direct connection with numbers of a hot line of the leading insurance companies.

According to the company, the digital telephony will expand possibilities of patients at the request for consultation on medical examination passing, to terms of waiting of diagnostic services, obtaining policies of compulsory health insurance.
