2020: Implementation of the voice robot
The government of the Moscow region took a number of measures for support of inhabitants in the period of the mode of self-isolation and distribution of COVID-19. Measures are directed to material support of certain categories of citizens, informing on opening of "electronic sick-lists", the notification about canceling or transfer of signing up in MFC. Also the Ministry of Health of the Moscow region undertook functions on control of a status of the citizens who are on a quarantine or house treatment. It became known on April 15, 2020.
With respect thereto there was a task – to timely convey information to tens of thousands of inhabitants. For example, among acquired the right to a financial support there were more than 50,000 people for whom phone is the only communication channel. Each of them needed to call and announce an opportunity personally. Also in connection with restrictive measures it was required to cancel 11,000 making an appointment in MFC and to timely notify on it inhabitants. Besides, calls were necessary for the message about opening more than 20,000 of "electronic sick-lists".
The separate and major area of work – status monitoring of health of the residents of Moscow area who are on a quarantine after the foreign trip and also the patients undergoing treatment for a coronavirus at home. For ensuring permanent monitoring every day it is necessary to ring round more than 2,000 people.
To carry out such tasks in a short time it would be necessary to attract huge human resources which are entirely directed to assistance to patients. The voice assistants developed by Voximplant company on the basis of the technology of synthesis and speech recognition available in Yandex became the solution . Cloud. Technology of Yandex. For only several days using the visual editor of Voximplant Kit the first voice assistant who began to make calls was created and to notify inhabitants on what material support and as they can receive. For the first five working days the voice assistant made 27,000 successful calls. Also using the voice assistant more than 20,000 were notified on opening of "the electronic sick-list".
The voice robot successfully copes also with more difficult task. The robot asks questions of the state of health of the person. If the patient announces the increased temperature, the call is automatically transferred to the ambulance line. In case of less serious symptoms – on call center for a call of the doctor on the house.
All project from the idea before start was implemented in 7 days. It allowed colleagues from the Ministry of Health quickly and to selectively convey information to inhabitants that could not be performed by forces of call center operators in so short time.
