2023: Digital Solutions Integration Complete
In Tatarstan, TechLAB and Vitacore have completed the integration of digital healthcare solutions. The company "TechLAB" announced this on April 11, 2023.
The next stage of the digital transformation of the healthcare sector included the introduction of a centralized subsystem "Organization of the provision of preventive medical care (clinical examination, clinical observation, preventive examinations" and the development of the subsystem "Organization of the provision of medical care for patients with cardiovascular diseases," their integration with the medical information system and the regional segment of the unified state information system in the field of health.
Cardiovascular diseases are among the most common in Russia, where they affect almost 10 million people, and annually top the sad rating of causes of death. Not only timely diagnosis and correctly selected treatment are aimed at changing this trend, but also periodic medical examination and preventive medical examinations that allow you to notice alarming symptoms in time.
Both areas - cardiovascular diseases and prevention - require correct management decisions throughout the country, work with analytical and statistical data, which allows improving the quality and availability of medical care. To achieve these goals, digital tools are used: in hospitals and clinics - MIS (medical information systems), at the regional level - centralized subsystems (DIN), at the federal level - VIMIS (vertically integrated medical information system).
As of April 2023, the next important stage of digitalization of healthcare has been implemented in the Republic of Tatarstan. Previously, the region was connected to the VIMIS platform in three of the four areas affecting mortality rates (oncology, cardiovascular diseases (CVD) and obstetrics, gynecology and neonatology), and in 2022 work was completed on the remaining direction - prevention, as well as modernized the previously implemented CVD subsystem.
In the region, as of April 2023, more than 100 medical organizations use the state information system "Electronic Health of the Republic of Tatarstan," developed by Vitacore to automate the activities of clinics and hospitals. The data coming from the MIS are aggregated in the centralized subsystems "CVD" and "Prevention" - they were developed by the IT company "TechLAB," specializing in digital health services.
We have developed and implemented a centralized subsystem for preventive medical care in Tatarstan and modernized the subsystem for cardiovascular diseases - these are management IT tools designed not only for the work of the main freelance specialists and heads of health management bodies, but also for doctors in the field. The final stage of work on the integration of these subsystems with the medical information system and the regional segment of the unified state information system in the healthcare sector was successfully completed at the end of 2022, and as of April 2023, clinical data is accumulated and aggregated in the subsystems - they are fully ready for use, "said Artyom Magnitsky, Business Development Director of the IT company" TechLAB. The expert notes that the DIN implemented in Tatarstan in 2022 became the first experience of the TechLAB company with the region and with Vitacore as an integrator partner. Further development of subsystems will improve the quality and availability of medical care for residents of the republic.
