2024: Waste Management System Development Begins

The Trans-Baikal Territory was among the outsider regions in terms of citizens' satisfaction with the MSW export service following a survey conducted by the Russian environmental operator at the end of 2023. Etton (Etton) announced this on March 1, 2024.

The Etton group of companies joined the reform of this industry in Transbaikalia in February 2024, within the framework of a state contract with the regional Ministry of Natural Resources.

To improve the current situation, development scenarios will be developed, waste management systems a transportlogistic justification for the placement of waste management facilities will be prepared, the need to change the cost of services for the population will be assessed, information in the information system will be updated.

The work must be completed by September 2024. The contract value amounted to 6 million rubles.
