Project date: 2025/12

In December 2025, details about the data center of the Minsk Tractor Plant became known. The project was implemented by Noventiq Belarus.

According to Nikolai Kolonitsky, Head of the Bureau of System Integration and Administration of the MTP Information Technologies Department, the project made it possible to create a reliable data center to ensure the uninterrupted operation of key information systems. Work included concept preparation, infrastructure construction, migration of services and staff consultation.

Dell and Rittal vendor equipment was installed. Specialists have placed telecommunication racks, uninterruptible power distribution sources and systems, inter-row heat exchangers. Monitoring systems with temperature, humidity and video surveillance sensors are installed to monitor the state of the data center. Data from them comes in real time, which minimizes operational risks.

A feature of the project was the preliminary purchase and placement of equipment in the old center until the completion of construction. This approach made it possible to reserve communication lines in advance and improve fault tolerance. After the site was ready, the server cluster was installed using a hyperconverged solution and services were transferred to the new infrastructure. The hyperconverged solution integrates computing resources, storage, and networking into a single software-defined suite that simplifies management.

According to the Noventiq press service, the created data center corresponds to the N + 1 reliability level. This scheme implies a redundant component for each key element of the system, which guarantees operation even if one piece of equipment fails.

Within the framework of the project, Noventiq Belarus engineers conducted training for the customer's employees, as well as prepared detailed technical documentation.[1]
