MTS optimizes personnel recruitment using AI

On August 14, 2017 there was information that the Mobile TeleSystems company (MTS) signed the annual contract with the Russian company Stafory for use of its solution on personnel recruitment process automation — AI Robot of Vera. The cost of the contract was 1 million rubles.^[1]

Project Tasks

Using AI in MTS expect to optimize recruiting process:

• reduce a response time by emergence of the new summary on the profiles interesting MTS in working time till two o'clock (during the work without use of artificial intelligence this indicator reaches four hours);
• increase a share of the interested candidates by "cold search" to 70% at the current 40%;
• increase the number of interviews of recruiters with candidates due to reduction of time for search of the summary by 30%.

It is expected that the number of the employed candidates found the robot and who had primary interview with Vera will be 200 people monthly.

Choosing a Solution

A choice for benefit of AI Robot of Vera from Stafory was made according to the results of three-months testing of the solution. During testing of Robot of Vera could estimate on compliance to requirements of MTS more than 100 thousand summaries in 50 cities of Russia and employed as a result of 69 employees.

Project Progress

Based on testing the Stafory company entered a number of completions Robot Vera service according to requirements of MTS. In particular, Stafory increased the volume of the summaries browsed by the robot, optimized analytical reports for recruiters, added function (for example, readdressing of the become interested candidate for the living recruiter).

MTS — one of our first clients. They can be carried to innovators. Operative and fair feedback coupling from their party helped us to make many important completions in a product. At the moment, in addition to MTS, we cooperate with other representatives of a telecom, last month started the pilot with VimpelCom — the representative of Stafory noted.

Project Results

As of August, 2017, Robot of Vera looks for specialists only for the centers of customer service and for sales of services of fixed connection of MTS so far. According to the press secretary of MTS Dmitry Solodovnikov, the following employee categories for selection will be defined later.

The robot looks for on Internet resources of the curriculum vitae of candidates by the set parameters. Calls those who approaches on search criterions a vacancy, conducts primary interview — the self-training neuronet will recognize the natural speech of the person and conducts dialogue with candidates. In case of preserving of mutual interest, the robot sends the description of a vacancy and will readdress the candidate for the living recruiter who makes the decision on hiring — told in MTS.
