MONT optimized work with incoming documents

May 26, 2015. The MONT group reported^[1] about optimization of work with invoices of accounting and purchasing department.

Tasks

The company management was faced by a task to quickly free the office space used for physical archive and to provide quick access to archive documents. Besides, it was necessary to integrate this system and electronic archive of the enterprise into the existing IT infrastructure and also to automate search of archive documents for accounting and purchasing department, thereby having exempted them from routine work.

Project Progress

For this MONT implemented the ABBYY FlexiCapture system. The solution was integrated in the existing IT infrastructure of the company in only 3 months. As a result of monthly 1 scanning station and 1 station of verification process and export up to 50 thousand pages of the entering documentation of MONT to corporate archive that makes about 2.4 thousand pages a day, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.

Development Plans

The MONT group is going to expand possibilities of electronic archive in the nearest future, having included in it processing not only invoices, but also other documents, including agreements. In the aspiration to provide equally high level of service, the management also intends to implement scanning stations and verifications in all regional offices.
