2025: Implementation of the EDC

Novosibirsk developer of video and photo editing software Movavik in four months transferred all remote employees to personnel electronic document management in the Kontur.KEDO service, more than 2 times reduced costs and expanded the geography of hiring. SKB Kontur announced this on April 24, 2025.

Movavika had a need to switch to electronic personnel documents even during the pandemic, when the share of remote workers rose sharply to 40%. Accordingly, the volume of documents that had to be printed and sent by courier, and then wait for their signed copies, also increased. Each such parcel cost the company more than 1000 rubles.

But the main reason for the transition was still the legal risks that created for the company long expectations of the originals of the signed personnel documents. Some of them have strict deadlines to sign - they cannot be missed. That is why the organization's lawyers supported the personnel officers with their proposal to switch to personnel electronic document management.

When choosing a service in Movavik, they saw in Kontur.KEDO an intuitive service that fully meets the request. Movavik decided to use KEP for most of the company's employees and it was necessary to solve the problem of identifying the identity of employees in order to obtain this type of electronic signature. The Kontur became the only KEDO operator to help solve this problem thanks to a large network of its own certification centers. New workers, even before employment, receive a CEP and on the first working day sign her personnel electronic documents.

The process of agreeing and signing a document in the Kontur.KEDO service takes no more than 10 minutes. The personnel officer creates and signs the document, immediately receives the signature of the employee and closes the document flow. Movavik is confident that any document will be signed on time, and the company will have confirmation of both the sending of the document and its receipt by the employee.

The cost of courier delivery has been reduced to almost zero. Financial costs for EDC and electronic signatures are at least 2 times less than spending on the exchange of paper documents. Among other advantages in Movavik, they note the release of personnel personnel time for other tasks and the ability to employ people abroad.

{{quote 'author=said Svetlana Arkhangelskaya, Head of Human Resources Administration in Movavik. | It seems to me that KEDO is must have for companies that work with remote workers. But from my experience I understand that first you need to study the legislative framework, the chapters of the Labor Code, which relate to EDO, the law "On electronic signature." This will help you understand which documents will be signed by electronic signatures, which EPs will be used, how employees will receive them. This also determines the content of local acts, which must be adopted when entering the FEDO, and the necessary functionality of the service. I would also agree with the integrator about the test period. Until you start working in the program - it is not clear whether it is suitable or not,}}
