The Municipality Administration Academic implements EDMS

The administration of the municipal district "Academic" started system implementation of electronic document management based on Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. The project is implemented by West Concept company.

Implementation of EDMS is executed for the purpose of reduction of loading of employees in connection with search of necessary documents, business process automation of interaction of staff of Administration. The implemented system automates standard business process of order taking from individuals in office of Administration.

During the project customization of Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 specially under requirements of Municipal councils imposed to office-work processes is performed. In a system 32 users will work. Project implementation will take about two months, and the office of Administration will be able to use a system in two weeks.

In addition to a problem of automation of activity of office in the project progress input of the Legal Acts OMSU system with the block of project development of legal acts taking into account entering of data into the register of municipal regulatory legal acts of St. Petersburg and also the Register of Municipal Contracts systems is planned. "OMSU collegiate organs", "OMSU target (address) programs", Municipal archive, "The register of municipal services" are planned to system development.

The project manager, from West Concept company Minyaev Dmitry so commented on the project: "Implementation of this project will provide effective interaction of Local administration with citizens, minimizes answer terms according to petitions from citizens, optimizes processes of authority delegation in Administration of the municipal district. Besides, accomplishment of this project will help us to understand better specifics of work of municipal districts that will allow to replicate this solution and thus to promote implementation of the program of creation of the electronic government, accepted to execution in Russia".

Further West Concept company it is going to implement the common information space integrating all Municipal districts of the city of St. Petersburg and the Central Administration, having organized information transfer in the area:

1. Normative reference information;

2. Creation of base on administrative offenses;

3. Creation of base on trade;

4. Bases according to programs of improvement.
