Softline unrolled a virtual cluster for Mybox company

2019: Transfer of services of service of online store in Softline vCloud

On November 5, 2019 Softline reported that MYBOX transferred services for service of online store to a virtual data processing center of Softline vCloud. The solution allows to work with high-frequency calculations, ensuring smooth operation of business applications of the customer.

According to the company, the management of MYBOX was faced by a task to select a cloud service for placement of the systems of a business intelligence and business process modeling. It was important to company to receive the failsafe solution which will allow to manage dynamically existing resources without the capital investments in hardware upgrade.

The customer tested several options of cloud platforms and came to the choice of Softline vCloud: the virtual data center was optimal in terms of performance and cost. After the test period within which in a cloud cluster several supporting services worked the management of MYBOX decided to transfer to vCloud some more business applications, complete migration of the website and the servicing resources in our virtual DPC is in the long term discussed. The solution provides installation of different operating systems depending on needs of the customer and a possibility of independent control of servers through a uniform panel. The virtual cluster is suitable for use in different scenarios: both for the organization of reserve platforms, and for placement of business and critical applications.
