In Bahrain the center of response to cyberthreats of NGN SOC on the basis of solutions of Group-IB opened

On April 15, 2019 Group-IB, the international company specializing in prevention cyber attacks and Bahraini system integrator NGN International announced opening of the Bahrain's first round-the-clock center of the monitoring and response to cyberthreats (SOC) working at a basis data about cyberthreats Group-IB Threat Intelligence. NGN SOC founded on Group-IB technologies will allow local state bodies, private companies and financial institutions to receive the expert help in pro-active monitoring, identification and prevention of cyberthreats at early stages, having provided the best protection internal IT infrastructures.

At official opening there were representatives of authorities of the Kingdom of Bahrain and heads of the leading banks of the country.

One of the main advantages of open SOC is that its work is based on a system for pro-active detection and response to cyberthreats - Group-IB Threat Detection System (TDS) which without requiring compound integration, allows to prevent cyberincidents using monitoring of network traffic and also the behavioural analysis of files in the isolated environment. Besides, clients of SOC will regularly receive notifications on the threats aimed at their companies and on activity of the cybercriminal groups acting in the region and also recommendations about protection against difficult threats.
