The next implementation project of the Solvo.WMS system is performed in Kabardino-Balkaria for one of the enterprises of Ecomilk company, the large producer of dairy products – the Nalchik dairy plant.
At plant production of four commodity groups is performed: fermented milk products, sour cream, the oil (which is packed up both for retail, and for production), cheeses. A finished goods warehouse of the company rather small on the area. Number of SKU more than 100 units. Shipment of goods is performed as in large, and small retail chain stores, separate shops.
The implementation team of "SOLVO" made the decision to break process of automation into stages and to start a system gradually – on the main commodity groups of the enterprise. It helped with the course of implementation not to make impacts on a vista shot of shipments. The following order of implementation was defined: at first products of sour-milk workshop, then sour cream and oil workshops and at the final stage – cheese workshop. Each stage, in turn, was separated into consecutive debugging of business processes of the enterprise: product acceptances from production, placements on storage, inventories of a warehouse, shipment of products to clients.
The possibility of drawing up a matrix of shipments of goods to clients, proceeding from date of production, but not expiration dates was one of customer requirements implemented in the Solvo.WMS system. Thus, depending on terms of the contract, concluded between sales office of the enterprise and the client, in a system it is possible to configure rules of shipment under the specific partner as taking into account products expiration date, and date of production.
To sum up the results of the project so far early, but already now it is possible to note reduction of quantity of resorts, losses and write-offs of goods. Use of paper technology in business processes in a warehouse is minimized.
