The Honeywell corporation announced in the summer of 2014 the accession to the project on creation of the platform of the integrated security system (ISS) for the British energy company National Grid. The platform will be used for design, installation and accomplishment of commissioning at implementation of the integrated security systems on objects of power infrastructure of Great Britain, including objects for transportation and electric power distribution through the whole country.
The Honeywell company uses approach which cornerstone the miscalculation of real threats which allows it to create the multi-layer systems of security providing protection of people, property and services is. The company already implemented a series of projects on development and deployment of such systems on crucial infrastructure facilities, including nuclear power stations, large transport hubs, sporting venues and stadiums, correctional facilities, oil and gas pipelines.
