"National Payment Card System" completed the project on automation of accounting processes

On April 13, 2017 the JSC National Payment Card System company announced project completion on automation of accounting processes within management accounting and procedures of formation of budgets based on the 1C: Holding Management 8 configuration of the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform.

Project Tasks

In 2016 the National Payment Card System had a need for automation of accounting processes within management accounting and procedures of formation of budgets. It was necessary to create the unified information system which would allow to solve the problems facing the company, such as:

  • conducting accounting, tax and management accounting;
  • formation of accounting and tax statements according to requirements of the legislation;
  • preparation of the management reporting;
  • formation of budgets and business plans.

As the partner in implementation the Rice company – one of the leading companies franchisees "1C" was selected.

The software product based on which automation was planned had to meet the following requirements:

  • the high level of high-speed performance at simultaneous operation of 20-30 users;
  • differentiation of access rights according to employee competence;
  • a possibility of the automatic direction by corporate e-mail of notifications to users of a system about the procedures / tasks which are carried out in a system;
  • implementation of version control of planning – budgeting according to several scenarios and with different planning horizon;
  • a possibility of import of data from other systems which are used in the company, without negative impact on their working capacity;
  • accomplishment of step-by-step automation taking into account the subsequent expansion of use of basic functionality of a system;
  • a possibility of visualization of reporting and budget data (automatic formation of slides to the presentation).

After studying of all options the 1C: Holding Management 8 software product was selected.

Project Progress

The implementation project started in July, 2016 and lasted 4 months.

Within project implementation Rice performed the following works:

  • Preproject inspection of business processes of the enterprise.
  • The analysis and development of technical specifications on blocks: budgeting, management accounting, treasury.
  • Data transfer of accounting and tax accounting from "1C: Accounting 8 CORP" in "1C: Holding Management 8".
  • Development of functionality according to technical specifications on blocks: budgeting, management accounting, treasury.
  • Testing (acceptance tests) on blocks: budgeting, management accounting, treasury, accounting and tax accounting.
  • Development of documentation on blocks: budgeting, management accounting, treasury.
  • Consultation of users on work in a system.
  • Trial operation on blocks: budgeting, management accounting, treasury, accounting and tax accounting.
  • Transfer of a system to commercial operation.

Project Results Business process automation in the company allowed:

  • Lower labor costs of workers on preparation of the reporting.
  • Increase transparency of algorithms and rules of formation of the management reporting (each budget indicator) for the management.
  • Optimize interactions between divisions on obtaining information necessary for preparation of budgets and reports on their execution, and on exchange of it.
  • Keep management accounting using the analyst which are not provided by the 1C: Accounting 8 CORP configuration which is available to the project (additional analysts, reference books).
  • To timely control accomplishment of procedural procedures by divisions of the company in a part: providing information, introduction of primary data, report generation, formation of budgets.

Within the project 30 jobs were automated.
