In early September 2021, the launch of the Nebosvod-Sakhalin project in the Sakhalin Region was announced, within the framework of which a digital platform for organizing drone flights is launched. It is assumed that the new solution will reduce the time for obtaining permission for the use of unmanned aircraft by 10 times, which in different regions can take up to 30 days.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the relevant agreement between the Sakhalin Oblast Development Corporation and the Russian company Aeroscript. It is noted that the Nebosvod-Sakhalin project, due to ensuring the safety of the use of unmanned aircraft, will develop urban and regional airmobility, as well as contribute to the transport connectivity of cities and settlements of the island region.

One of the main directions of the government's approved strategy for the digital transformation of the transport industry is to accelerate the mass commercial use of all types of unmanned vehicles, "said Deputy Minister of Transport Kirill Bogdanov. - The first step to this is the development of digital and organizational-technical solutions proposed by Russian developers in the new legal format of "regulatory sandboxes," as well as in territories where the risks of introducing new technologies are lower.

According to him, the use of decisions on the organization of the movement of unmanned aircraft on Sakhalin will accelerate the formation of a complex of legal and technical national regulation of this area, and the introduction of drones of all types into the practice of business and public administration.

Kirill Bogdanov noted that it is planned to test the digital identification of airdrops with the display of the location of the external pilot and the technology for preventing conflicts in the air. At the same time, relevant departments will be able to receive information about the flights of drones in real time.[1]
