The Nissan plant optimizes delivery systems, control and management of power supply

The company Schneider Electric signed the contract on complex service of the plant Nissan Motors Manufacturing Rus when building the 2nd queue of production, the press service of the contractor reported on April 29, 2013.

Objectives

For optimization of service of the plant the Schneider Electric company offered Nissan complex service and operation of engineering subsystems: systems of distribution of low and medium voltage, back supply and industrial automation.

Details

According to the contract, power supply of the Nissan Motors Manufacturing Rus plant will provide the equipment Schneider Electric: modular cells of medium voltage of 10 kV, dry transformers with cast isolation of Trihal, the main distribution frames of low tension (0.4 kV) of Okken. In total for reconstruction and construction 10 different objects among which there are workshops of plastic and coloring, the assembly shop, administrative buildings, warehouse, etc. were defined.

Job

At the first stage forces of group of engineers of Schneider Electric company book technical audit with job analysis and risks of production, reliability assessment of the equipment is given, information on loads of the equipment of the average level of tension is obtained. According to the results of the analysis the group proposed complete solutions for risk minimization of accidents, idle times and optimization of work of production that, in turn, influenced improvement of an economic component of all production.

Order amount

Now works on the order and production of the necessary equipment are conducted. The Schneider Electric company also provided the equipment of medium and low tension for the first stage of production Nissan, installed electric power dispatching system.

Contract amount is about 2 million euros.
