Content

The Gelicon Pro company completed the first stage of control automation by maintenance and repairs of the equipment (TORO) in JSC Nizhneserginsky Hardware Steel Works (NSMMZ).

Project Objectives

Project implementation is directed to the qualitative solution of the following production tasks:

  • ensuring trouble-free operation of the equipment during an interrepair time;
  • preserving of passport characteristics of the equipment;
  • warning of premature wear of the equipment;
  • increase in transparency of process of maintenance;
  • information storage about a condition of equipment.

Logic of construction

The project provides three stages:

  • 1. Setup of a circuit Management of TORO of the Capital of CSE system in one of divisions of the enterprise.
  • 2. Formation of the complete database of repair units and standards on carrying out repair work and service.
  • 3. Creation of means of decision support and analysis.

Amendments

Upon the demand of the customer the basic algorithm of planning is modified, as a result each plan of TORO forms not only on the basis of repair standards (on replacement, survey, prevention, etc.), but also on the basis of data on the made repairs.

Result of the beginning

In the course of accomplishment of the first stage the tool allowing the staff of repair divisions to create the relevant register of the equipment with the detailed specifications enclosed by drawings and assembly schemes and also grouping of separate machines in industrial complexes is developed.

There was a possibility of conducting volume scheduling of works with materials requirement, spare parts and repair personnel, formations of a task to personnel and works monitoring.

Reality

Now in NSMMZ the second stage of the project is implemented. Filling of the database is conducted by information on repair units and standards.

The mastered amount of data about 15%. Observed effect:

  • cumulative time for preparation of documents of TORO, necessary for carrying out, was reduced;
  • more complete and detailed planning of actions of TORO is performed;
  • complete and accurate account of the spent required resource on the held events of TORO is kept;
  • the centralized base of the technical information forms.

Expectations

NSSMZ expect to gain essential economic effect within six months after complete project implementation:

  • cost reduction of MTR for 25-30% of the current quantity;
  • decrease in need for labor resources by 10-15% taking into account repayment of deficit of number of operation personnel;
  • cutting of costs for attraction of third parties on carrying out routine maintenance and overhaul repairs.
