2020: Providing the exercise machine with VR and AR technology

The Ruselectronics holding provided on December 10, 2020 to State Corporation Rostec the exercise machine with technology of virtual and augmented reality for working off of emergency situations in a water supply system. Within implementation of a pilot project of technology of virtual and augmented reality will be used for training of employees of the master pump station of Nizhny Novgorod.

As a part of Ruselectronics holding the project is implemented by NPP Salyut. The enterprise developed virtual model of the master pump station of Nizhny Novgorod on which stable operation the ecological wellbeing of the city directly depends.

The software allows to simulate most precisely emergency situations and helps specialists to fulfill methods of elimination and warning of accidents. Besides, the complex allows to organize training of new employees in virtual environment prior to work on the real equipment. It promotes better training of employees, decrease in time expenditure on training, adaptation and recertification of personnel and also to increase in service life of the equipment.

Use of VR and AR technologies on industrial facilities allows to implement immersive training in technology processes. The solution can be used not only in the organizations which are engaged in city water supply but also on other objects of housing and public utilities. Within implementation of a pilot project we are also going to create in the territory of the customer the training class with several locations of virtual reality, exercise machines of augmented reality and also robotic exercise machines, - the CEO of NPP Salut Alexander Bushuyev told.
