The Nyurbinsky GOK passes to a MES system

2020: Implementation of an ACS production process

"ALROSA" continues implementation of large-scale IT- the project MES within which at all mining and processing works is implemented automated control system production process (MES). It became known on November 16, 2020. The project solves a complex of problems among which – implementation of the IT platform, optimization and process automation of production management, automation of the reporting, equipping powerful IT infrastructure and the equipment of dispatching centers GOKOV.

Implementation of a MES system on Nyurbinsky GOKE started after a pilot project on Aykhalsky GOKE. On NGOKE the general approach to implementation was reviewed taking into account experience of implementation on AGOKE, requirements and functions of a MES system were reviewed and specified. For this purpose within the project of increase in operational efficiency by specialists of the Center of development of a production system together with NGOK requirements to development of instruments of scheduling and analytics of production processes of pits and enrichment factories were prepared.

So, the functionality of informing heads and specialists on deviations was expanded. The notification about a deviation of processes comes from regulation instantly by means of the SMS that allows to correct a situation quickly.

"Bottlenecks" and the reasons of decline in production on mountain repartition and at an enrichment stage were analyzed that allows to take adequate measures for their elimination. For ensuring performance of mountain and mining and transport repartitions the "ideal change" project was implemented. At the same time in production accounting, significant changes were made to administrative and organizational processes of plant. The MES system became one of instruments of this reorganization.

In implementation of a system, many specialists and heads are involved in its adaptation under production of the company. All plants, workshops, technology processes differ among themselves. Only the people who are directly working at production sections can point to nuances, features and to describe those difficulties which the implemented complex is designed to solve. In this case specialists of Nyurbinsky plant helped to customize in the most active way a system. This work is continued also for November, 2020. Always is that to improve, add features, to configure the tool "under themselves", - the chief of the center of scheduling of production processes of ALROSA Stanislav Gushchin noted.

The central dispatching office also underwent upgrade. Now managers obtain evident information on production process in pits and at factories and also^[1] signals of failures in work^[2].
