Implementation of functionality "Management of investment projects" based on SAP ERP in OMK Ltd

Within the project on implementation of a corporate information system based on SAP R\3 in United Metallurgical Company Ltd of Parma Telecom (OMK Ltd) exercised implementation of a subsystem "Control investment projects" (module PS SAP ERP). Specialists Parma Telecom performed works:

• integration testing of a subsystem "Management of investment projects";
• testing of integration of a subsystem with external systems;
• elimination of the notes revealed during testing of a subsystem;
• development of the training materials and functionality user training "Management of investment projects";
• preparation and loading of initial data of a subsystem;
• maintenance of a subsystem for trial operation.

Automation of process of management of investment projects will allow the enterprises of OMK Ltd to perform planning of investment actions: planning of terms, costs, materials requirements and equipment, automatic formation of purchasing requests. Regarding execution of projects – will allow to keep track of the status of project implementation, receipt of the equipment and materials, to control costs on objects of capital construction, to perform input of fixed assets in operation.

The main works on implementation of a corporate information system were carried out by the Project team of OMK Ltd under the direction of Roshchina of Yury Vladimirovich, the CIO of OMK Ltd.
