Engineering services for the creation of non-standard process lines and equipment occupy a special place in the company's activities. In 2012, to improve the interaction of its divisions and improve control over their work, the company automated document management using the Etla EDMS. Choosing this solution, the specialists of Obukhovskoye CJSC noted the high performance of the system and the convenience of its use.

The introduction of electronic document management was carried out in stages and did not interfere with the current work of the company and the fulfillment of orders.

First, the processing of incoming, outgoing and internal documents was automated - at this stage, about 30 employees joined the system. Special attention was paid to performing discipline, since it is the accurate and timely implementation of management instructions that is considered as a criterion for effective workflow.

During the year, the customer's specialists, together with software developers, analyzed the document flow and finalized business processes. Gradually, with the help of the EDMS "Etla," a single information space was formed in the company, and a year later electronic document management was used by all divisions and employees of the company.

The functionality of the program is not limited to document management. As of December 2022, on the platform of the electronic archive "Etla" version 6.6, engineers of Obukhovskoye CJSC create an archive of design documentation and a knowledge base.

Over the past time software EDMS "Etla" has been updated several times. All this time, the developer's specialists carry out technical support for the EDMS "Etla," promptly eliminate problems arising in its work, train and advise system administrators. At the same time, at the request of the company's management, the functionality of the system is expanding: for example, automatic notifications have recently been configured.

For 10 years of operation of the electronic document management system "Etla," the management of the company "Obukhovskoye" could more than once make sure that the decision to implement it was correct.

2012: Implementation of EDMS Etla

Etlas-Soft announced on April 24, 2013 the introduction of the Etla electronic document management system in Obukhovskoye CJSC.

Preparation

At the end of 2012, Obukhovskoye CJSC decided to introduce a document automation system that will allow management to constantly monitor the activities of the company's divisions.

Plans

At the first stage of the project, it is planned to automate the processing of incoming, outgoing and internal documents using the system, to ensure control over the execution of management orders. It is estimated that about 30 people will work at the beginning.

Project progress

April 21, 2014 it became known about the introduction in 2012 of business processes for processing incoming documents of the full cycle. The process began with the receipt of a document from an email or fax message, after which it was registered in the system, then automatically sent to processing, and the process ended with the receipt of a jointly developed outgoing document.

Project Summary

During 2013, Obukhovsky specialists, together with the system developers, analyzed business processes and performed a number of improvements that made it possible to include other departments of the company in this process. A transition to a new version of the Etla 5.0 system was carried out, the list of system users was expanded by purchasing additional client licenses.
