"Oil and gas technologies" use the system of design document flow

The Arbyte group announced on August 21, 2013 project completion of system implementation of design document flow of Vitro-CAD in the Oil and Gas Technologies engineering company.

Project Background

Activity of the project organization has the features among which:

• joint work over project documents of several divisions and subcontract organizations;
• existence of standard projects and templates of structures of the project documentation, templates of project documents, reuse of elements of drawings at design;
• use for design of several versions of AutoCAD and also the external references connecting documents among themselves;
• labor-intensive process of assembly of sections and sets of documents of the project.

Project Progress

The customer's employees in short terms learned to administer a system and to accompany its development, to use systems capabilities.

Project Results

With implementation of Vitro-CAD design engineers received the unified environment of management of documents available directly from within the system of design and supporting external references. Chief project engineers actively use creation of templates of structures of documentation and their duplication in new projects. At design synchronization of attributes of the drawing and parameters of the project is actively used (formats dwg, doc) that, on a response of the customer, reduced time for assembly of sets of documents. Competitive access to editing documents and the notification about their changes considerably reduced quantity of mutual discrepancies and alterations.
