Olmi upgrades SCS

On December 3, 2013 it became known of the project of upgrade of SCS implemented by Optivera company in the OLMI trading company.

Project Tasks

Having begun optimization of a warehouse complex, the OLMI trading company was faced the need to upgrade the structured cabling system (SCS).

Project Progress

Within the project specialists of Optivera carried out the analysis of network and complete upgrade of a cable system.

They laid about 7 km of the twisted pair cable, mounted more than 250 m a cable channels, organized network for 200 jobs.

In the course of upgrade of SCS are used:

• network equipment of HP
• Legrand SCS
• telecommunication cabinets of Conteg.

Solving project tasks, the integrator considered perspective of development of network (cable schedules are created). Specialists of the OLMI trading company can support and expand it now. Works were performed taking into account all wishes of the customer and without separation of staff of the company from work.

Project Results

Implementation helped:

• integrate geographically distributed warehouses and offices in the uniform protected information space;
• organize several meeting rooms;
• provide employees with a reliable communication and also provide them access to the information systems of the enterprise.
