All idea with cryptocurrencies is that stands behind them a large number of the equipment, and Avnet is his leading supplier. Thus, we began to work with many such companies which have different products, whether it be the equipment for mining or hardware purses. As soon as we learned about them and began to cooperate more, we received one request concerning whether someone can, like Avnet, accept cryptocurrency payments as they use such currency in work — Trin reported.

According to him, the company does not expect "the huge volume" of payments by means of bitcoins — possibly, less than 1% of transactions will is the share of them. However Avnet sees the potential of growth of cryptocurrency business therefore the company decided to develop it, he added.

When the client decides to make purchase using bitcoin, Avnet is connected to the BitPay system to check means, to process the order and to complete transaction.  Avnet and BitPay are going to manage and process requests for cryptocurrency transactions outside the USA.  In 2018 BitPay  processed transactions with cryptocurrency for the amount exceeding $1 billion[1]
