For management of a warehouse complex of airline the software of Oracle E-Business Suite Inventory is used. Development of the functional expansion ensuring functioning about a stroke - the coded tags at management of warehouse stocks became the following task. Thus, the project objective was to reduce labor input at data entry in a system at the expense of system implementation of shaped coding.

Airline management was made the decision to address for implementation of this project the partner of Oracle certified according to Oracle E-Business Suite – FORS group company.

In a work progress over the project of the combined team of implementation consisting as of customer representatives, and the contractor and the analysis of different approaches candidate solution with data entry from readers of barcodes directly in the Oracle E-Business Suite Inventory forms was recognized by the best. The operator at the same time uses the hand scanner and performs data entry via the traditional (desktop) interface of the personal computer. As a result of scanning of barcodes of the stored objects data on them get to the corresponding fields of a form automatically.

Implementation of this solution demanded from specialists of FORS of execution of works in modification of the standard, used in warehouses of the customer Oracle E-Business Suite Inventory forms. As a result of implementation of the project a system on automatic identification of the stored objects was created that allowed to increase efficiency of reflection of warehouse transactions in the Oracle E-Business Suite system and, as a result, to increase efficiency of warehouse personnel. according to specific requirements of the customer.

Now the developed solution is found in a stage of commercial operation.
