On January 28, 2014 the Borlas consulting group announced implementation in an IT landscape of RUSENERGOSBYT company of the optimized hardware and software system Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine.
Project Tasks
"RUSENERGOSBYT" - the supplier the electric power for more than 200 thousand clients in 60 regions of the country. This activity causes need of collecting and processing of large volumes of information for what in the company the uniform data warehouse on the platform is unrolled DBMS Oracle Database. A basis for a system and the connected analytical applications - the complex Oracle Exalytics implementing the concept of "extreme analytics" due to placement and processing of large volumes of data in RAM.

The Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine complex includes the platform of the business analysis Oracle BI Foundation Suite and DBMS with data processing in RAM of Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database. The hardware is based on the Oracle Sun Fire server with the Intel Xeon processor (40 main cores). For work with traditional databases in RUSENERGOSBYT LLC the Oracle Database Appliance complex - completely integrated system integrating the software, servers, storage devices and network equipment is set.
