The Sitronics company implements the solution of management of basic data

The implementation project of the innovation Oracle DRM platform is implemented in JSC SITRONICS by SITRONICS IT subsidiary company.

Tasks

Within creation of a corporate analytical system of JSC SITRONICS held an open tender on development and deployment of a management system for master data (Master Data Management - MDM). A main objective of implementation of MDM was creation of the uniform centralized directory of master data of the SITRONICS Group used for the analytical systems of the company. According to the results of tender the solution based on the Oracle Data Relationship Management system (Oracle DRM) proposed SITRONICS IT was selected.

The Oracle DRM system is intended for management of a broad spectrum of master data. First of all, this tool is used for management of reference books of the analytical systems, including budgeting systems and consolidation. The audience of users of DRM is made both by analysts (management team the normative reference information), and end users are operators of the accounting systems, participants of process of approval.

Solution

Implementation is carried out to a short time, from the moment of the beginning of works before transition to trial operation in 10 reference books there passed 5 months. During the project was infrastructure is developed for extraction, conversion and data loading which allowed to synchronize changes in reference books of the accounting systems on all group with the central directory of master data and to perform the return publication in the reference books which are kept on a centralized basis in management company. Also during the project multilevel process of approval of changes in the reference book of projects was configured.

Opinion

"DRM is a mature product which is implemented more than 10 years worldwide. The solution maturity in this context means the developed, rich functionality caused by investments of vendor Oracle in development and improvement of a product. And implementation in joint stock company SITRONICS – the important project on this platform in Russia, - Oleg Shcherbinin, the head of department BI SITRONICS IT in Russia comments. – During preparation for the project by consultants SITRONICS IT we studied world experience of product introduction, master classes with experts are held Oracle.
