"Oriola-KD" and Jet Infosystems agreed about outsourcing of service of support of jobs of end users, the press service of integrator reported on March 28, 2013. This project is some kind of addition to the project of outsourcing of DPC with customer company.
Start
The specific project began with upgrade of infrastructure of jobs and preparation of SLA determining parameters and regulations of service. Specialists of Jet Infosystems company analyzed business processes of the customer, selected the infrastructure elements responsible for implementation of this or that service (for example, sales, acceptance of goods and so forth).
Taking into account geographic location of objects and assessment of degree of criticality of services in each drugstore, retail outlets are divided into 6 categories, and for all business processes of each category the SLA is defined.
Result
The guaranteed recovery time of operability of business process in some cases is till 4 o'clock. It allowed to reduce significantly the number of idle times – about tens of cases a month to single in a quarter. Considerably also the general downtime of services decreased: from several o'clock and even days up to several minutes a month.
Here the principle of maintenance of operability of business processes in general, but not separate infrastructure elements (the server or the seller-cashier's PC) is the basis for SLA.
Guarantees
To guarantee obligation fulfillment on SLA specialists of Jet Infosystems company in addition unified the software configuration of all jobs, all drugstores, more than 240 points, are connected to a corporate data network. For operational troubleshooting to integrator the control of warehouse ZIP is transferred.
