The Otkrytiye bank transferred IT services to virtual DPC

On October 28, 2016 the Servionica company announced transfer on virtual resources of corporate IT services of Otkrytiye bank.

The Otkrytiye bank and Servionica company started the joint project on creation of a private cloud on a technology platform of DPC TrustInfo.

Cloud computing only begins the way in the Russian banking sector. Project Results

The bank leased about 160 virtual machines in the protected virtual environment unrolled at capacities of data center TrustInfo operating under control of Servionica company. In terms of cost optimization, instead of long-term investments in the equipment on perspective of growth of loadings, bank pays only actually consumed resources of provider and has an opportunity to quickly regulate their volume.

In the field of responsibility of Servionika technical support and data security provision, stored on virtual servers, according to individually developed SLA.

We are sure that the project on creation of a private cloud for Otkrytiye bank will give an impulse to distribution of cloud computing in the Russian bank industry, allowing financial institutions to combine expense optimization on IT with advantages of service model – flexibility, scalability and customer focus.
