2022: Implementation of Appius-PLM UPSD for design of power facilities

Appius announced on July 14, 2022 that PKE Sistema began using the Appius-PLM Design and Estimate Management software package a year ago to manage design and related workflows.

As of July 2022, more than 20 employees of the company work daily in the system, connecting to Appius-PLM through a web client. Among the active users are the bureau of chief project engineers, administrative and management personnel, the design sectors of primary and secondary connections, the design sector of civil construction sections. The company's subcontractors are also connected to the system.

In Appius-PLM, the project tree structure for storing documentation has been configured according to the specified criteria. In the near future, PKE Sistema intends to use the structure developed in Appius-PLM as the only repository of all technical documentation. The company also collects tender packages for participation in procurement in the system.

In addition, the main Appius-PLM modules used include Tasks, Invoices, and Letters.

• Tasks - to control the timeliness of tasks and optimize the workload of employees.
• Letters - for exchange of correspondence and registration of outgoing letters.
• Invoices - to record the fact of receipt of documentation from subcontractors, transfer to customers.
